The Sydney Heritage Fleet Model Workshop was started by naval architect and former SHF President Phil Renouf and has been operating for decades.
We repair, build from scratch and kit, and renovate models of all types ranging from historic sailing ships to modern vessels. We use a wide range of materials and tools including 3D printing. Some of the equipment and materials we use have been donated by retiring model makers and shipwrights.
Our prime objective is generating funds for the Sydney Heritage Fleet.
The workshop is staffed by volunteers with an interest in maritime activities and we welcome visitors.
