The Cyril Hume sailing ship collection

 

One of the great ship model makers of the 20th century, Cyril Hume was born in 1900 and died in 1984.  His magnificent models can be seen in some of the world’s great maritime museums, including that at Greenwich in London.  Cyril corresponded with many sail enthusiasts, collectors, photographers and artists, exchanging images world-wide and the Sydney Heritage Fleet is able to show here, the majo rity of those images that made up the Cyril Hume Collection.
