The archives of the SHF have some wonderful images, none more fascinating than these. There is the paddler Rodney, burnt by striking shearers almost 130 years ago. There are ‘home made’ paddlers carrying farm produce and timber and there are river passenger ferries.

Copyright for the majority of these images from the collection is vested in the Sydney Heritage Fleet. For the remaining images every attempt has been made to ensure correct attribution.
